"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." - Psalm 119:105

Transform Your Daily Walk with God

What if you could start each day with clarity, purpose, and peace? What if fifteen minutes each morning could change the trajectory of your entire year?

That's the power of consistent Bible reading, and we're excited to help you experience it firsthand.

Why a Daily Bible Reading Plan?

Many Christians desire to read through the Bible but don't know where to start. Others begin with good intentions in January only to find themselves lost in genealogies by February. A structured reading plan eliminates the guesswork and keeps you on track.

Our Daily Bible Reading Plan offers:

  • Manageable daily portions that fit into busy schedules
  • Balanced reading from both Old and New Testament
  • Clear progression through Scripture over the course of a year
  • Flexibility to catch up if you miss a day

What Makes Our Plan Different?

This isn't just another reading schedule, it's a carefully crafted journey designed to help you:

  • Build consistent habits that stick beyond the first month
  • Understand Scripture through thoughtful pacing and context
  • Experience God's character as His story unfolds chronologically
  • Connect with our church family as we read together

When our entire congregation follows the same reading plan, Sunday sermons become richer, small group discussions go deeper, and we share a common foundation for growth.

Getting Started Is Simple

Ready to begin this life-changing habit? Here's how:

Step 1: Download Your Plan

Download the Q2 Daily Bible Reading Plan

Download the Holy Week Reading Plan

The plan includes:

  • A full 365-day reading schedule
  • Tips for successful Bible study
  • Prayer suggestions to enhance your reading
  • Space for notes and reflections

Step 2: Choose Your Reading Time

Pick a consistent time each day, whether it's with your morning coffee, during lunch break, or before bed. Consistency matters more than perfection.

Step 3: Start Small

If daily reading feels overwhelming, start with three days a week and build from there. God honors faithful steps, no matter how small.

Step 4: Find Your Method

Whether you prefer a physical Bible, phone app, or audio version, choose the format that works best for your lifestyle.

Join the Journey

You don't have to walk this path alone. Consider:

  • Inviting a friend to follow the plan with you for accountability
  • Sharing insights on social media using #ChurchBibleReading
  • Joining our weekly Bible study group that follows the same readings
  • Participating in our online discussion forum for questions and encouragement

Ready to Begin?

The best time to start reading God's Word was yesterday. The second-best time is today.

Download your Q2 Daily Bible Reading Plan or Download the Holy Week Reading Plan and take the first step toward a year of spiritual growth and deeper intimacy with God.

Baby Dedications

What is a Baby Dedication?

“Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will remain upon it.”   Proverbs 22:6

It is our tradition to follow the example of many families in the Bible, including Jesus’ family, and dedicate our children to God when they are born.  The dedication is a symbol of choosing to raise our children to know and follow Jesus, and it’s a way of welcoming them into the larger family of Christian Assembly.  Together, with parents, we want to do all we can as a community to ensure that our little ones grow up in a church where they know they are loved, where they know the good news of Jesus and where they know they can grow to be all that God has planned for them to be.

Families and friends are welcome to join you in the service when you dedicate your child.  Cameras are welcome as well.  We encourage you to make the moment special and memorable for you and your family.

To Dedicate Your Baby:

  1. Your baby must be less than 1 year old.  If you have adopted a child and would like to participate in the dedications, please contact us at: 323-255-2516.
  2. Click here to fill out a Baby Dedication Form (turn your form into the Kids Church check-in tent on the weekend or email to kidschurch@cachurch.com)
  3. Once your request is turned in, a CA staff member will contact you to confirm the Dedication.
  4. You will be receiving a letter explaining more of what a Baby Dedication means for you and your child.

Note:  We are able to accommodate 5 families per service, so we ask that forms are submitted as soon as possible.

2025 BABY DEDICATION DATES:

November 8th and 9th - Forms are due October 27th

We dedicate babies during our weekend services. Please submit your request form at least two weeks prior to the date of the dedication. (You can submit your form as early as you’d like) For more information about baby dedications email us at kidschurch@cachurch.com

We love babies and celebrate with parents who come to dedicate their little ones. Dedication is the commitment of parents to raise their children to know and follow Jesus Christ. If this is your pledge, then we are honored to be a part of this experience with you!

Please Note: We cannot guarantee which pastor from our staff will do your baby dedication. We are confident that each member of our pastoral staff is equipped to perform your baby dedication and will be excited to celebrate with you for this special occasion.
